I thought this place was great. The proximity to the temple alone is worth staying. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and the grounds are beautiful. The food was just ok, but was convenient. The were so few people there, it made for an interesting atmosphere, as it seemed guests were well outnumbered by staff. I would recommend this resort if visiting the temple.<br><br>Tips:<br>*The sunset tour of Borobudur is beautiful, though well attended...check into the extended sunset ticket instead for gorgeous painted skies with fewer people! |

Maybe that is the reason we have to make reservation first before, even though the restaurant is not crowded. 我選擇了婆羅浮屠的唯一官方管理團隊旗下的旅館Manohara (佛教故事天女之名)，位於婆羅浮屠園區內。留宿一晚的價格就包括了一頓下午茶的固本，一張到塔頂的入門票還有一頓早餐的固本。個人建議這個旅館是因為治安好，接近園區內（能在很早的時間參訪婆羅浮屠），還有能無限制的在婆羅浮屠的園區內參訪（不包括到塔頂）。<br><br>搭飛機抵達了日惹國際機場(Yogjakarta International Ariport)後，乘車大概90分鐘就能抵達旅館。我安排旅館接機，一共40萬印尼盾一趟。抵達旅館已經是11點半左右。由於還未到入住房間的時間，加上之前預定登上佛塔的時間還有三小時左右，在前往婆羅浮屠園區了解一下後，就打車前往婆羅浮屠附近的三個古佛廟參訪。<br><br>結束三個古廟的參訪，回到天女旅店大概是2點。入住旅店後簡單梳洗就回到櫃檯和旅店安排的嚮導見面。我選擇了單獨一對一的嚮導，花費12萬印尼盾。這樣嚮導就在旅店等候我，而我不必步行15分鐘到嚮導等候處排隊。參觀前旅店會安排旅客穿上地方一種用名為Upanat的拖鞋。<br><br>參觀塔頂完畢就可以憑固本在旅店享用下午茶。<br><br>整體來說Manohara旅店是一個絕對值得來留宿的地點。期待下次也能來這裡。 |

Before I write the nice points - the first thing I will point out is that the treatment of the elephants is appalling. There are 4 pushed in to a house as they call it, they have tight chains around their ankles and there is dung everywhere. They are not looked after properly, they are not treated with the respect they deserve and therefore IS animal abuse! Very sad sight indeed. I suggest you spend the correct amount of money on the care sufficient for those poor creatures. They clearly looked distressed.<br>The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and staff are lovely. Room was very nice and had air con.<br>Breakfast was delicious and dinner was nice and good price.<br>The temple being accessible was a once in a lifetime experience and I am thankful to have had that opportunity. Sadly the prayer chants conflicted with the Buddhist atmosphere but clearly, can't be helped... |

The price is not that cheap and not that expensive, standard restaurant price. I find their nasi rempah very delicious (one of the most delicious fried rice I've come across).<br>You get free shuttle car from borobodur temple to the restaurant. And you can order grab from the restaurant. They'll pick you at the restaurant parking lot, so you don't have to walk outside just to order your grab. |

We watched on in horror as 2 staff members beat a large male elephant in chains, to the point we were shouting at them to stop. We left saddened and disgusted.
