Combining modern and traditional elements, this Villa Padi reached a state that we called "cozy". If you have comments about design, even if it has flaws, but yet it's still enjoyable.<br><br>Rooms are okay, amenities are so-so, you'll expect this villa just like another hospitality accomodation.<br><br>We rent a building with 4 rooms, plus a spacious living/guest area, and a kitchen with small outdoor BBQ area. Rooms are great, with no visible disappointing features. Guest area are spacious, but will feel too windy in a windy day. Kitchen area was great, but with minimal utensils, brings your own if you plan to cook here.<br><br>You'll find one tiny teeny store which provide basic needs for your stay, like snacks and soaps, but when we stayed, it's usually left unmanned, so you have to search to staffs to buy something from there. You could also take a 1-min walk to crossroad just next to the villa, there's a small store there.<br><br>Pros :<br>- Good atmosphere, located in a mountain slope.<br>- Nice and cozy rooms.<br>- There's a small swimming pool, pool table and fireplace in central communal area.<br>- Reasonable prices.<br>- Surprisingly big enough parking area.<br>- Very nice and friendly staffs.<br><br>Cons :<br>- A little bit too far from main road.<br>- Always difficult to find when first visit.<br>- A little bit cramped total area, if you considering it.<br><br>7.5 out of 10. |

I like the concept of the place. Good place to held team building or activities in group. You can cook(you need to bring your own cooking utensils) and held a barbeque party here while some of the team were swimming.<br>The place is clean but can be cleaner at some spots. You can relax here since it is located in a village, near farming area, so you can assume that the air is quite clear. |

(-) Bathroom so dirty & water flow very small, and shower water horrible. We complaint but the technician cant do anything. Hot water not available, which its mountain area. Room light are dim, as well the bathroom. I believe land is not huge, with 4 building inside, it looks narrow. Need to admit if thiss place so dirty for me. Seems the owner dont maintain this villa well. So many flies coming to us or our food, night and day!<br>(+) so many trees, location near the rice fields, weather good and fresh air. Safe parking, and good area at least. Hospitality is good.<br><br>Wish you can fix everything better to gain more customer! Thanks for hospitality. |

This place was a little bit hard to be found as it's inside of a village. But the trip was worth it when finding that it is very homey and recommended for your retreat or getaway from office life. Located near Merapi mount, of course the air can be quite cold at night. However, at day, you can enjoy the swimming pool which is not very cold as it's not very foggy and close to the mountain. The place is clean and well maintained. Hot water works well. Fridge, water dispenser and everything was prepared well for the guests. The hosts are friendly (though it was so hard to find them in breakfast time and they didn't pick up the phone as well). The food is kinda sweet, typical Jogja local food. When staying here, you can enjoy dinner at The Waroeng of Raminten which is only 15 minutes from location. Recommended place! Love it. |
