tadi pas ke sini lumayan banyak pengunjungnya. turis gitu, rombongan bapak-bapak dan ibu-ibu. rombongan muda mudi juga ada, yang rombongan keluarga kek aku tadi juga banyak. baru pertama kali ini masuk sini dan first impression aku kurang ngena sih. kek sepi aja gitu meskipun banyak pengunjung. tempatnya juga masih ada pembangunan jadi kurang nyaman aja. tapi pas di bangunan utama atau pendoponya bagus. aku suka lampu-lampunya. kalo mau masuk pendopo harus didampingi tour guide dan alas kaki harus dilepas. nanti sama tour guide nya disediain kantong plastik buat bawa alas kakinya, kalo khawatir ilang gitu. aku tadi ga masuk, liat aja dari luar sama foto-foto hehehe |

Overall quite interesting, although missed the Gamelan performances as they seem to take place early around 9 am and only on some days, but very limited areas open to visit, perhaps partly due to some official visit closing an area. Photography is also not allowed in the garden, supposedly unless you book a restaurant table. Obligatory guide was quite helpful though within their constraints. |

زرتم في يوم الجمعه كان الزحام شديد جدا وتحتاج الى انتظار وقت طويل هل يستحق الزياره هذا يختلف من شخص الى اخر لا تتوقع ان ترى مبنى ضخم مبنى عادي الى حد كبير لكن قيمته في رمزيته يعني رمزيته المرتبطه بالعائله الملكيه تراجات ان العائله الملكيه موجوده كما اخبرتني المرشده وطلبت السلام عليهم وزيارتهم قالوا لا يمكن ذلك وكان مقام العائله المالكيه اكبر من ان تستقبل يعني الزوار لكن كل شيء منظم جميل في البدايه كانت صدمه كنت نادم جدا على الزياره في نهايه الزياره تغير انطباع الى حد يعني القناعه النسبيه |

地球の歩き方インドネシア2020〜21では入場料2万ルピアと記載されていますが、23年9月11日現在は5万ルピアです(外国人)。入場する際に、「ガイドを必ずつけなくてはいけない。ただし、ガイド料はなく、あくまでチップなので、金額は決まっていない」と言われました。わたし1人に日本語が出来るガイドさんがつきました。彼女に聞いたところ、「いま、日本語が出来るのは私だけ。私は英語のガイドもする。最近、あまり日本からのお客さんはこない」とのことでした。ガイド時間は約30分。入室禁止になっている場所もあって、正直、あまり見所が多いとは言えません。現在の王様は8代目で、ジャカルタの大学を卒業した26歳。30歳のお姉さんともども独身だそうです。聞けばガイドさんはこういう話もしてくれます(笑。昔の王様は権限があったが、今は単なる象徴とのこと。ガイドが終わって、「ガイド料はいくらが妥当かな」とか聞いたら、ガイドさんは「お任せします」。結局、5万ルピア渡しましたが、そんなもんじゃないでしょうか。 |

Paid IDR 10,000 for entrance, but since I was alone, the receptionist said that visitors who come alone must be accompanied by a guide and they will show you the inside of the palace, for example : the dining room, the museum, etc (I forgot) and we can pay them as we desire. |

Cost for foreigners 50k. A guide is mandatory, for which you have to pay extra an unspecified amount. Well organised and no hassle. My guide was very good and spoke excellent English. The tour takes about 45 minutes. Many portraits of royal people. Some antique gamelan orchestras. The ornate interiors are roped off, so it amounts to wandering around a couple of nice courtyards and peering at some interesting artefacts from afar. For me, with no serious interest in the royal persons, it was a mildly interesting way to spend an hour. |
