Heel erg indrukwekkende tempels! de schaal van prambanan is onvoorstelbaar, de torens rijken erg hoog en de details zijn er in overvloed. Het is zeker iets wat je moet bezoeken in Indonesië! De omgeving is iets minder magisch, zo waren er brandweeroefeningen naast het complex.. ook is er niet echt een leuk restaurantje waar je kan eten naast vele repetitieve kraampjes. |

Crowded but beautiful! Micco was our private guide. We had a great time with Micco. He spoke English very well. He was funny and very knowledgeable. Although he was Muslim, he shared deeply about Buddhism and Hinduism in Indonesia. Really appreciated his sharings and how he pointed the various similarities across the different religions, deepening our understanding of Indonesian cultures and religions. |

Beautiful temples and not as crowded as Borobodur. Many temples to visit in the area. If you go, find a guide/bus driver named Ikhsan Tayo!! He is my reason for giving this 5 stars. We wanted to take a small bus to another temple site 5 mins away from Prambanan on the same site. He drove us there for only 50k. Along the way he stopped and explained the history of many temples and used translation app if we did not understand. He is very knowledgeable. Ikhsan took photos for us and took us to some less well-known parts of the site such as the deer farm and other temples.<br>He was friendly and calm. We wouldn’t have had such a good experience if it wasn’t for him!! |
