There are some cafes, but still need more especially during peak season. It's so crowded and need a place to rest and chill, but it's full packed. The map showed that this area is big and there are lots of photo spots and batik store, etc. But in reality, it's only one main path and a bit further on the other sides and that's all. |

Super nice shop. There is a variety of items for different budgets. Items are clearly authentic batik and clearly labeled between the hand drawn designs, the copper stamped, and the printed versions. There are cotton and satin options. I bought a mix between more expensive hand drawn fabrics at 2 million idr and small stamped napkins for 22k and some items in between. The woman helping us was very attentive but didnt hover or pressure us into buying anything and she explained the items clearly and let me try some clothing options on. Highly recommend for authentic batik purchases |

But to be honest for locals, the batik is quite expensive since it is handwritten batik and also located in this exact area (probably tax).
